This policy describes when refunds are available for purchases on Medallion Maze ("MM").
digital purchases (capsules, world access, premium features)
- Free trial: where applicable, cancel anytime during the trial for no charge.
- Subscriptions (e.g. premium): you can cancel anytime through your account. The subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial periods.
- One-time digital purchases: refundable within 14 days of purchase if the content has not been substantially accessed or used.
physical purchases (numbered cards, merchandise)
before shipment
- You can cancel for a full refund any time before your order ships.
after shipment
- Defective or damaged items: replacement or full refund within 30 days of delivery. Email contact@medallionmaze.com with photos.
- Wrong item shipped: full refund or correct item, our choice. Within 30 days of delivery.
- Change of mind: not refundable. Numbered cards are limited-edition collectibles tied to your specific account; once shipped and claimed, they cannot be returned.
numbered cards specifically
- Once an NFC card has been tapped/claimed against your account, the digital record is permanently bound. We cannot un-bind a claimed card.
- Refunds before claim are full refunds.
- Refunds after claim are limited to the cases above (defective, wrong item, etc.).
creator drops (MM × Creator collections)
- Same physical-purchase policy applies.
- If a creator drop is canceled before fulfillment by us or the creator, all buyers receive automatic full refunds within 14 days.
chargebacks
Please email us first before filing a chargeback. We resolve most issues within 72 hours. Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension and we'll defend the chargeback with Stripe.
how to request a refund
Email contact@medallionmaze.com with:
- Your order number or email used to purchase
- Reason for the refund request
- Photos if the item is damaged or defective
We respond within 72 hours and process approved refunds to the original payment method within 5-10 business days (depending on your bank).
EU/UK consumer rights
If you're in the EU/UK, you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period for most online purchases. This right does not apply to certain items including:
- Personalized goods (numbered cards bound to your account)
- Digital content delivered immediately with your consent
- Sealed items unsealed after delivery (where applicable)
Where the cooling-off period applies, you can cancel for a full refund within 14 days of receiving the goods.
