terms of service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Medallion Maze ("MM", the "Service"). By using MM, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/UK) to use MM.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• If you're using MM on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

2. your account

• You're responsible for keeping your account secure and your password confidential.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One person, one account. No bulk registrations or automated accounts.
• You're liable for all activity under your account.

3. acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Impersonate other people or misrepresent your identity
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Upload illegal, harmful, hateful, or infringing content
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to access non-public parts of MM
• Use MM to spam, phish, or distribute malware
• Sell, resell, or commercially exploit MM access without authorization
• Bypass rate limits, age gates, or security mechanisms
• Use AI bots or automated tools to participate in sessions in ways that misrepresent you as a human

4. content ownership and licensing

your content

You own the things you create on MM. By using MM you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit your contributions inside the platform, only as needed to operate the Service.

shared creations

Things you make WITH another person in a session are jointly owned by both makers. Either person can choose to keep or discard their copy. If both keep, the creation survives in your shared Capsule.

our content

MM's name, logo, designs, software, and brand identity are owned by Medallion Maze Inc. You don't get any rights to these except as needed to use the Service.

5. ephemerality

MM is designed around impermanence. By default, things you make in sessions disappear unless both parties choose to keep them. We don't guarantee that any specific content will persist. If something matters to you, screenshot or export it.

6. drops, cards, and purchases

• Numbered cards (ARCANGELS, MM × Creator drops) are limited-edition collectible artifacts with associated digital records.
• Card numbers are unique. Once claimed, they're permanently bound to your account.
• Pricing, availability, and drop terms are listed at the time of purchase.
• Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.
• You may NOT resell MM-issued cards on third-party platforms in ways that misrepresent provenance, authorization, or association with creators or brands.

7. payments

• Payment is processed by a third-party payment processor (PCI-DSS compliant). By paying, you agree to that processor's terms in addition to ours.
• You're responsible for any taxes (sales tax, VAT, etc.) on your purchases.
• Failed payments may result in delayed shipping or order cancellation.

8. creator agreements

If you participate in MM as a creator (running drops, sponsoring worlds, etc.), additional creator-specific terms apply. Those will be presented separately when you onboard as a creator.

9. termination

• You can delete your account at any time by contacting contact@medallionmaze.com.
• We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or applicable law, or if necessary to protect MM, users, or third parties.
• Upon termination, your access ends. Some data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. disclaimers

MM is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties about uptime, data preservation, feature continuity, or the behavior of other users. Use MM at your own risk.

11. limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medallion Maze Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of MM. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.

12. indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Medallion Maze Inc. from any claims arising from your use of MM, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. governing law and disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
• Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Miami-Dade County, Florida, except for small claims court.
• Class action waiver: you agree to bring claims individually, not as part of a class action.

14. changes to these terms

If we materially change these Terms, we'll notify registered users at least 30 days in advance by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

15. miscellaneous

• Entire agreement: these Terms (with the Privacy Policy and other linked policies) are the full agreement between you and us.
• Severability: if any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• No waiver: failure to enforce any right doesn't waive that right.
• Assignment: you can't transfer your rights without our written consent. We can assign our rights freely (e.g., in a sale of the company).
